The Mud! By: Sara Voisin
One summer day I had some of my friends over. There is a trail behind my house that we always go down it leads right to Calvers. So we all decided to go. Grant, Cassy, Holly, Rachel, and I all walked to Calvers but it was a little muddy on the trail because it had just rained the day before. We walked up to a puddle and Grant, Holly and I decided to be smart and walk around it but Rachel and Cassy wanted to be cool and jump over it. They took a few steps back and ran then jumped as far as they could but the puddle was way too big for them and they jumped right into it. Mud was every where and we where all laughing our heads off! Once we finally got to Calvers we went right into the bathroom to try and wash it off that was the best part because it was really hard. It took us about 20 minutes but we finally got most of the mud off. After all that, we ordered our ice cream and enjoyed it! I look back on that day today and remember to wait till the water is all dried up before we walk on the trail!
